The Photo Before We Said Goodbye
The date was August 27th 2010, and this was outside of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
This was the last photograph you took with me.
Today would be my last day of summer vacation in Taiwan.
Since the first day we met, we had already known that this moment would have to come.
The plane at 4:30pm would take me to the other land on the opposite side of the earth.
We would not be seeing each other for the next four months.
You will be very lonely during this period and so would I.
But I promise I will come back for you during this winter break.
Now, the ticket has been ordered, and the only thing we can do is wait.
Wait until the morning of December 30th.
Let’s go back to the same place and take another picture.
